Specification Writer & Construction Project Management

 

 

Job Description

This position is responsible for identifying, researching and developing written specifications, coordinating and procuring bids, and providing project oversight for all aspects of applicable INHP rehabilitation and construction projects.  This individual will prepare specifications to be used as standards by the project team that will include the client, Risk Assessor, Inspector, Contractor, and other vendors.  In addition, te incumbent will act as a liaison in the Rehab area and continuously monitor projects to ensure timely completion and program compliance.

 


The incumbent's key responsibilities will include:

  • Documentation: Organize and track specification and establish and maintain procedures to ensure consistency with company and industry standards.
  • Materials: Write technical descriptions specifying material quality and quantity, utilizing knowledge of material standards, construction processes or manufacturing procedures.  Ensure material change orders meet company specifications and performance criteria.
  • Project Management: Responsible for developing written specifications, procuring bids, bid selection and coordination of construction project schedule with the project team.  Ensure projects are deliverd in a consistent and timely manner.
