Chapter's history: In February of 1991, a group of 25 interested Fort Wayne companies got together to discuss the prospect of forming a Fort Wayne MBA Chapter. The idea was unanimously accepted, and the Northeast Chapter was chartered April 14, 1991.

Geographical areas served: The Northeast Chapter Indiana Mortgage Bankers encompasses the region from Marion to the south, Warsaw to the west, Michigan to the north, and Ohio to the east.

Meeting schedule:  Meeting are typically held on the second Wednesday of each month, September through May.  Special annual meetings include: Staff Appreciation Night, Night Golf, Bowling Fun Night, Casino Night and a legislative update by Tom Dinwiddie.  Information about each of these events will be posted on the calendar as soon as it becomes available.

Community service and special projects: The Northeast Chapter supports Erin's House for Grieving Children, Habitat for Humanity, and Vincent House, which provides transitional housing for homeless families.
